Magnus Nnajekwute Chukwu, the CEO of Mag.J Enterprises, is an entrepreneur with a passion for international trade, quality products, and connecting cultures through business. Originally from Ihiala in Anambra State, Nigeria, he made the life-changing decision to relocate to Italy, where he built a successful career exporting premium goods to Nigeria.

Living in Italy exposed him to the country’s rich traditions, exceptional craftsmanship, and world-renowned food and wine culture. Among his greatest discoveries was the remarkable quality of Italian wines. Inspired by their heritage, meticulous production methods, and distinctive flavours, he developed a deep appreciation for Italian winemaking and envisioned a way to share that experience with consumers back home in Nigeria.

Driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to make authentic Italian wines more accessible to Nigerians, Magnus imagined expanding his business into the private-label wine industry. That dream gave birth to Mag.J Red Wine, on December 15 2025, the day this exquisite Italian red wine hit the Nigerian market with a bang.

Mag.J Red Wine is produced by one of Italy’s finest winemaking companies, Vinicola Agriflegrea: a historic, fourth-generation family-owned winery, ensuring every bottle reflects the highest standards of Italian craftsmanship. Made from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, the wine embodies the elegance, balance, and character that have made Italian wines admired around the world.
